Local building codes, especially those governing roofing within a High Velocity Hurricane Zone, often also require whole roof installation if more than 25% of a roof is repaired. In fact, South Florida roofing regulations and codes are very different from other parts of the United States. Access to materials, and age of existing roofing materials can also dictate a whole roof installation. Many of the materials we use have been rated to withstand winds above 100 miles per hour and can carry 20 to 30-year warranties.
In addition to manufacturers warranties, Pioneer Roofing also guarantees the work of their team. We also provide industry leading maintenance and extended service agreements to help you keep your home ownership costs to a minimum. -
WILL MY MONTHLY HOMEOWNER'S INSURANCE GO UP IF I MAKE A CLAIM?

If you live in an area prone to natural disasters, such as South Florida, this is a familiar concept – whether you make a claim or not. Your homeowner’s insurance rates are calculated based on your history, and also the claim history of others in the area. Pioneer Roofing is adept at working with insurance adjusters to help minimize out-of-pocket costs for our clients. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure that your needs are met with as little interference to your daily life as possible. -

Homeowners or property insurance may cover the costs of repairing roof damage, including reroofing if the damage is significant, depending on what caused the damage. For instance, if a severe storm caused damage to your roof and your policy includes storm/wind coverage, then your carrier is likely to cover most if not all of the cost to repair the damage. Pioneer Roofing can assist in evaluating the extent of any damage and determining the cause. Please remember that your policy likely includes a deductible that the homeowner or property owner will need to pay out-of-pocket and coverage limits or coverage exclusions may apply. Homeowners or property owners insurance does not typically cover damage resulting from lack of maintenance, wear and tear, or age of the roofing system. Insurance is unlikely to cover leaks you experience as a result of an aged roofing system. Conducing regular roof inspections and preventative maintenance is the best way to maximize the life expectancy of any roofing system. Pioneer Roofing’s Extended Service Agreements are designed with this purpose in mind.
